Touch screen BlackBerry® smartphone fans will soon have a new family member to welcome with the announcement of the BlackBerry® Storm2™ smartphone. Who are you and what do you do?
I'm a CDMA Handhelds Product Manager, which means it's my job to work with the various engineering, marketing, and business groups to help identify, plan and bring to market new BlackBerry smartphone solutions for the CDMA network standard.
Hello world! My name is Alex M. and I'm a Security Product Manager at Research In Motion (RIM). My job is to make sure that folks like you and me are safe when we use a BlackBerry® smartphone. What do I mean by "safe"? Security is about letting the good guys in and keeping the bad guys out. Sounds simple, right? Just don't tell that to my boss. =D
BlackBerry smartphones come with a huge set of built-in security features, but how do we use them and what do they really do? Those are the questions I'll be trying to answer with every post. Let's start from the beginning: protecting your personal information.
In case you haven't heard the news, the first update to our BlackBerry® Desktop Software designed for the Mac OS platform is now available. The last two weeks since the release of BlackBerry Desktop Software v1.0 have been very exciting and we received lots of great feedback. It was also very exciting to hear how great the product works for so many of you. The v.1.0.1 update is designed to provide enhancements to data and music sync and is just the first in a series of planned updates. We value your feedback and comments very much so please keep them coming!
