CES 2010: Kodak Print App Hands On

This week at CES, Kodak announced a slew of new printers. Why is that important news for BlackBerry® smartphone users? Because these printers are compatible with a new free app Kodak is building in partnership with Documents to Go creators Dataviz to allow for easy printing of documents from your BlackBerry smartphone. The Kodak Print App will be available in BlackBerry App World™ in March, so for now, check out the video and tell us what you think!

    Kodak seems to be promoting this as the world's first WiFi print app for BlackBerry smartphones. However, PriApps Mobile from PriApps has been on the market for some time now, and unlike the Kodak app PriApps Mobile enables BlackBerry smartphones users to print emails, attachments, photos, documents, calendar entries and more through a WiFi connection to ANY printer, including USB attached.

    I have given up on Kodak since they started selling their name for money, putting their name on crappy products they never made including media like DVD-Rs. I wouldn't by a thing they sell now their name is tarnished in my opinion!

    Is this only exclusive to Kodak printers only? Hope other brands would be like this.
