To use ReTweet highlight the tweet press the menu key and select Quote Tweet this will allow you to add and edit the original tweet.

When will there be a Retweet feature that allows editing? At present, I have to copy & paste a tweet to add comments which is cumbersome and risks attributing the original Tweet to the wrong user.

I'm loving the new Twitter for BlackBerry app! However, I ham having a few issues with batter life since installing it! I have set the options to refresh once per hour and turned notifications off but I still cant make it through the day without my bettery life dropping to the point where I need to charge my phone!

I have a Blackberry 8900 (UK version) ruinning O/S version 5.0.0.314

Douglas, thanks for the tip — it was driving me nuts. And for anyone else with this problem; to access the Options in the Menu you hit the BB menu/options button (the one directly left of the roller ball). I just wanted to mention that because it took me forever to realize the Options where there and not along the top icons menu of the BB app screen.

Kliky, this is actually an option you can toggle off! In the Menu, select Options, then uncheck the 'notify on new tweets' box. That way, you'll still receive notifications on @replies and mentions, but not for every tweet of the people you follow!
