I have the Bold 9000 It is so slow! I cant reply to anything on facebook the Horrible RIM AP has never been updated I have had 3 Blackberries I have given it all I can. Going to switch to Iphone to see if I have better luck

You can downgrade the software to a lower version. you can go backwards if you don’t like the new OS. Download Desktop Manager to your computer, google 5.0.0.1006 for 9650 Bold and download the OS to your computer, plug in BB and use DM to reinstall(downgrade) your BB. You can search on Crackberry.com for instructions

I would advise verifying with your wireless provider that Wi-Fi browsing without a data plan is supported.

I have a black berry bold 9780 .. i have not yet subscribed to the data plan from my provider.. . I have a i at home for my browing.

i have already connected to the wi fi .. through the blackberry

as you said ealier “we’ve automated transport selection so users no longer have to set their default browser!) ”

but when i click on the browser it doesnt connect to the requested pages/

do i need a different browser.. where do i select to use the wi fi for internet browsing

pls . help

Here’s another aggravation. For the life of me, I cannot get the calendar options to save my initial view preference of ‘month’. No matter what I do, it keeps reverting back to ‘day’.

This OS doesn’t appear ready for prime time, and we are the testers. I don’t have time for this. Please give an update on when these things will be getting fixed:

* Web browser needs ‘column view’, or some ability to increase font size by default. Don’t make us zoom & pan, etc.

* Give us the ability to choose font size in BB Exchange e-mails.

* Calendar will not allow initial view default to be saved. It allows you to go through the process and select preference, but will NOT save the selected options.
