Do you have a BlackBerry ID created? If not go to: www.blackberry.com/blackberryid to create a BlackBerry ID. If you do have one and can log in, what happens when you try to download an application?

Hi.

my bb curve is officially 6 days old. i was able to download apps etc using my app world. then it just stopped.

i deleted it and reinstalled it. i changed my passwords. i reregistered with 3 different email accounts.

i phoned two different mobile networks (vodacom and nashua mobile and blackberry south africa) and NO ONE can help me.

i have read all the blogs and trouble shooting solutions and nothing is working.

i enter my email address and password and click the log in button and it says "authenticating" and then "error try again later" or "blackberry app world cannot log into the blackberry app world server".

I was very suspect to get this phone cause i have had one before and it was NOT user friendly. but i went against my better judgement and bought one. OMG not cool.

now my service provider wants to send my phone in for repairs??? what repairs???

FRUSTRATING.

THIS IS NOT COOL. AND BY THE LOOKS OF IT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE STRUGGLING AND HARDLY NONE OF THE BLACKBERRY BIG BOYS / TECHNICIANS CAN HELP!!!

HMMMMM

That's a relief reading these comments - I thought I was alone with these problems. I think like many North American and Canadian companies, RIM don't truly understand international markets or what "worldwide" means. It seems this is an ill thought-out product released before it has been tested. What's more, I have no option on my Bold to remove the app at all. Fix it, RIM, or just don't release it.
