A full power off and on is just as quick as any other phone out there. You are talking about a full reboot of the phone, not a power off and on. For the record, at least if there is an issue with your battery or want to replace it to keep your device lasting long you don’t have to send it in to Apple, pay a hefty price, and get a refurbished one back.

Rim you are a joke.
If yoh announce a tablet i expect you to launch it in 1-2 months.
Till 2011 another 100000 tables will be in the market,and a new iPad with some inovations like apple did before with all products.
