I totally agree with you Caspan. Apparently, those working in the digital and electronics world only ‘think’ in those terms and want to exclude traditional radio stations who stream their content online. I listen to my local radio stations – why? Because they’re in my community, they’re part of my community and they give me information about my local community. The ‘price’ I pay is to listen (or not) to the commercials (although with public radio or HD Radio multicast channels I get few or no commercials). My favorite radio station here in the DC area is Mix 107.3 (WRQX-FM). Would love to be able to listen to them or Baltimore public radio station WTMD-FM (no commercials, eclectic rock mix) on my Blackberry.

Not everyone listens to Pandora or Slacker…….some of us (239 million per week, as a matter of fact) still like to listen to ‘regular’ radio -it’s be nice to have that on the phone – the one device that allows me to carry ‘everything’ with me.
