ISEC7 Mobile Exchange Delegate and PRIV Keep You On Top of Communications

Screenshot_2016_03_18_16_32_56Delegation is one of the most important – and often overlooked – skills in business. Many people think, “it’ll be better if I just do it myself,” but that mindset bogs them down with more work than they can handle, interferes with their ability to respond to clients or colleagues, and damages the company’s efficiency and reputation. By delegating work to others, people can not only be more successful in their jobs, but can also help mentor their direct reports and help them to develop skills to advance in their careers.

Communication is one of the places that’s ripe for delegation. Sometimes it’s a matter of being too busy to keep up with your email, other times you may be out of the office for a period of time and need someone to cover your messages. And there’s the ongoing need for executives to delegate their inbox and calendar to assistants or for multiple staff members to access a company or departmental shared email account.

Within Microsoft Office, users can take advantage of Delegate Access, which assigns someone to keep an eye on their Microsoft Exchange server account and manage their email, calendar and contacts. But, as more and more people work remotely, we need a tool that gives us the same type of access from our smartphones, such as the PRIV by BlackBerry. Here’s where the ISEC7 Mobile Exchange Delegate app, originally developed for BlackBerry 10 and now available for Android, comes to the rescue.

priv_en_1_1_0_0_emailsISEC7 Mobile Exchange Delegate uses the permissions in Microsoft Outlook to enable approved delegates to read and write to another user’s account from a mobile device. It connects directly with the Exchange Server, enabling delegates to accept or create calendar appointments, access and manage contacts, respond to emails and access public folders, while keeping unauthorized eyes out. Technical requirements are simple: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 SP1 or higher, Microsoft Outlook 2003 or higher, Microsoft Office 365 and Android 4.0.3 or higher.

ISEC7 also integrates into EMM container solutions, including Good Secure Mobility Platform powered by BlackBerry, for greater user productivity without compromising on security.

And, for even more productivity and security, PRIV by BlackBerry has you covered. It provides the most secure Android experience on the market, including aggressive Android security updates, BlackBerry’s Hardware Root of Trust, a hardened Linux kernel and complete disk encryption by default. The dual touchscreen and physical QWERTY keyboard enable users and their delegates to quickly and comfortably compose emails. New features added with the upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, including new keyboard gestures and enhanced word prediction, make ISEC7 Mobile Exchange Delegate even easier to use.

With ISEC7 Mobile Exchange Delegate on the PRIV by BlackBerry, you get it all: the power of your team to help you stay on top of your communications combined with the power of BlackBerry productivity and security!
