Product Manager, Consumer Security
Alex joined RIM in 2006 and has worked on securing BlackBerry® smartphones and the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution. Today, he looks after the security of consumer products like email, instant messaging and social networking. Alex does all of his online banking and shopping from his BlackBerry smartphone because it’s safer than using a computer (seriously!). Device of choice: BlackBerry® Storm2™.
Andrey
Andrey started with RIM in 2006 as an intern, and recently joined the handheld software product management team in 2008. Andrey's focus is on the overall direction for desktop software. He spends most of his time identifying customer needs and working with various development teams to come up with new and exciting ways to extend the magic of the BlackBerry® experience to the desktop. Andrey hopes this blog will allow him to share his passion and knowledge about BlackBerry with readers.

Handheld Product Manager
Annu joined RIM in 2002 and is now part of the Handheld Product Management team. All of his time goes into defining requirements for future hardware. Annu works closely with customers, carriers and internal teams to make the BlackBerry® device the best it can be! He especially fond of his BlackBerry® Curve™ smartphone.
Becky
As RIM's social media strategist, Becky spends much of her day following great online conversations about the BlackBerry® brand (and does some work here and there too). You will hear from her occasionally on Inside BlackBerry, but for the most part she will be behind the scenes, supporting our roster of experts in their blogging activities. Becky anticipates that she will have a lot of "Who Knew?!" moments, and hopes that our readers do too. Device of choice: BlackBerry® Bold™ smartphone!

With more than a half-decade of experience in the wireless industry, Douglas “tr0n” Soltys has chronicled the evolution of mobile culture in both the consumer and enterprise space. Prior to joining RIM, Douglas manned the helm of wireless weblogs QuicklyBored and BlackBerry Cool. Product Manager, Consumer Email
Mark has been with RIM for 10 years, and has worked in technical support, third-party developer relations, enterprise product management and carrier management. Mark has spent the last two years managing the development of the consumer email platform (BlackBerry® internet service email), working with software development to bring the best email experience possible to BlackBerry smartphone customers. Mark is a big believer in starting the day off right by reviewing his email and downing a can of Diet Coke. Device of Choice: BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900

Mike recently joined RIM after spending the last eight years working at the carrier and mobile startup levels of the wireless industry. Already a longtime and enthusiastic member of the BlackBerry® Community, Mike is now a member of the very ambitious and never satisfied handheld software product team.
Riz
Riz joined the handheld software product management team at RIM in 2008. Riz works on the overall direction of the device and spends a lot of time trying to figure out what customers want. Senior Product Manager
Sanjay is a Senior Product Manager who is responsible for identifying and mobilizing great internet experiences on BlackBerry® smartphones. Before being a product manager, Sanjay was a software engineer with stints in optical, data networking, and most recently in the consumer wireless industry.
Sean
Product Manager, Social Networking
Sean joined RIM in 2003, and has worked on the BlackBerry® social networking and photosharing application program over the past two years. Sean spends most of his time working with RIM's development teams to come up with new and exciting social applications. He is looking forward to being able to share information with BlackBerry smartphone users through Inside BlackBerry.
Vikram
Product Manager
Vikram joined RIM in 2006 after working in the Web, browser and computer-networking worlds as a product manager and a software developer. He spends most of his time nowadays working on RIM’s multimedia products. He is a huge sports fan and loves being able to check on his cricket and football scores anywhere, anytime thanks to his BlackBerry Curve 8900.
