I’m really excited to have to have this opportunity today to present you with a new BlackBerry PlayBook video. Our friend Jonathan from the Product team at Research In Motion® (RIM®) was kind enough to help us demonstrate a few of the many BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet use cases for business professionals. Included in the video above is a brief demo of email pairing with your BlackBerry® smartphone via BlackBerry Bridge, multi-tasking, viewing Microsoft® Office® documents, and secure access to business applications such as Flash®-enabled dashboards from SAP® BusinessObjects Explorer.

I think the video demonstrates how easily the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet makes your corporate information portable and accessible in a variety of different ways. Post a comment below and let us know what you think, as well as noting which additional business features of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet you’d like to see demonstrated.

    The question that seems never to get answered is whether you can access the internet using the blackberry smartphone connection?

    • Todd

      Paul, it has been answered. From the BlackBerry Playbook web page….

      * 3G network access using your BlackBerry® smartphone as a modem
      * 4G network access available on BlackBerry® 4G PlayBook™ tablet
      * Wi-Fi® 802.11 a/b/g/n
      * Bluetooth® 2.1+EDR

    how does attachment handling work between the bridged Blackberry and the Playbook?

    Apart from emails, why would enterprise opt for BlackBerry Playbook over any other?
    Please tell us the enterprise features of the same.

  • Ron

    Ok already we love the playbook. Been following it since September 2010. I’d be more interested in a video showing the playbook’s official release date and official prices so that I can stop relying upon non-RIM sources.

  • Todd

    Please, no more videos. Just give us the PlayBook.

    To be honest I don’t know if I will use a 7 inch playbook to check my emails while i can open up my outlook and all other office files in my laptop. Is there any other thing playbook could do for business? ie think how is this thing going to help business make moeny/save cost. It has to add value to the business using it, not just the user experience.

    I would love to buy this device. The demonstrations in the video is excellent. I have enjoyed going through the video as well as the text after that.
