Extending the offer for a free BlackBerry PlayBook tablet!

With today’s release of the BlackBerry® WebWorks™ SDK for Tablet OS, I am very pleased to announce that we will extend the deadline for the free BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet offer. Applications submitted by March 15th, 2011 will be eligible to qualify for the offer, providing an opportunity for both BlackBerry WebWorks and Adobe® developers to bring their applications to the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.

If you read the rules page it says “Developers who create a qualifying application for the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet prior to its initial North American release are eligible” with a new date of March 15th as the close date is that a clear hint on the release date? =)

I want a laptop in my phone. What does this do. Could I do webcast presentations from my online webroom and livestream into a big screen from here, while also having my script available to me, but not my clients? I know what I want, but don’t know if technology is there yet or what the lingo is!

So, does this mean 100% the release is on or after March 15? The program is for apps submitted before the NA release.

So, release date is March 15th? Will this date be the same for UK customers?
Or if isn`t the 15th March, when is it?

I have used Blackberry for seeral years and love my new Torch. I think the PlayBook will be a great complement to the Torch in my business. I am an attorney and have to travel a lot and a PlayBook is deal for me. Iwas offered an iPhone and iPad but wanted to wait for the PlayBook to come out.
