September is one of my favorite times of year here in Canada. Not only is it the unofficial start to the autumn season, but more importantly, it’s the time of year the red carpets are rolled out and the celebs come to Toronto.
The Toronto International Film Festival has become the launching pad for the best of international, Hollywood and Canadian cinema and is widely recognized as the most important film festival in the world.
I had the opportunity to sit down with Michèle Maheux, Executive Director and COO of TIFF, to chat about how she manages the days leading up to the Festival.
