New Enterprise Software Update Gives More Selling Power to Partners

Earlier this week, we launched a comprehensive update to the BlackBerry Enterprise Portfolio that makes it even better—for enterprises using it, and for Enterprise Partners selling it.

That’s saying something, considering that the previous version of BlackBerry Enterprise Portfolio just earned a spot in the Leader’s Quadrant in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Mobility Management Suites—making this our second year in a row.

In the report, Gartner describes Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) as “the ‘glue’ that connects mobile devices to their enterprise infrastructure.” As companies continue to invest in mobilizing their data and processes, and building out the Enterprise of Things (EoT), this “glue” will do more, and become even more important to business operations. Going forward, every enterprise will need an EMM solution—and one that goes beyond basic mobility management. Those that want the best will choose BlackBerry.

BlackBerry’s continued leadership in enterprise software and services means that partners align themselves with our powerful and expanding platform. Through our BlackBerry Enterprise Partner Program for Solutions Providers, we offer you the opportunity to grow your business while you help your customers manage and secure their mobile and connected devices, communication, and data with an end-to-end solution. (Our partner program also recently won an award.)

Secure, Manage, and Control Today and Tomorrow

BlackBerry Enterprise Portfolio supports the way we work today, giving IT an improved ability to secure, manage and control the mobile enterprise. Our software and services run on every major operating system, across any network.

We knew enterprises would need rock-solid EMM to secure devices, data, and content, but also a way to handle the coming EoT, to provide secure messaging and other communication and collaboration tools, and to stay ahead of the constantly evolving security threats.

That vision becomes reality in the BlackBerry Enterprise Portfolio. Today’s update continues to execute on that plan.

Updates Help Clients Maximize Business Potential

BlackBerry enables enterprises to work in ways that work for them. Our true cross-platform solution suite provides mobility and flexibility, collaboration tools, seamless productivity, and the best security in the business.

Specifically, this BlackBerry Enterprise Portfolio update helps customers:

New Growth Opportunities for Partners

When Solutions Providers invest in BlackBerry, we give you opportunities to expand your expertise and build your business. This latest update creates opportunities to support your customers with exciting new capabilities and solutions, so they can grow too.

Ease Transition from Legacy Installs

For those customers still using a legacy MDM, waiting for the right moment to upgrade, now is a great time. They can look forward to comprehensive endpoint management from a single console that works across all major operating systems, and provides end-to-end security for all users, devices, and policies.

 Identify Upsell Opportunities

BlackBerry Analytics for app lifecycle management, and improved identity and authentication management in BlackBerry 2FA and BlackBerry Enterprise Identity can accelerate the transition to a higher BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Suite that might better suit your customer’s mature mobility needs.

 Enable Better, More Secure Collaboration

Two significant improvements can help you expand your Workspaces footprint. DocuSign integration accelerates document approval, and “file read” acknowledgements and the ability to add file-level comments for easier, faster, real-time collaboration.

Gemalto integration gives customers the ability to use private security with public clouds with “bring your own (encryption) key,” or BYOK, allowing them to achieve compliance with important regulations, including ITAR in the US or the upcoming GDPR in Europe. This is the latest update to the BlackBerry Enterprise Portfolio, but it certainly isn’t the last. We have lots more in store to continue to support today’s employees, and give customers the tools they need to secure, manage and control.
