Cylance® is proud to share the news that Brian Robins is joining the company as our new chief financial officer, where he will be instrumental in fostering our explosive growth as a major security marketplace disruptor.
Robins is a seasoned executive with more than twenty years of experience in senior accounting and finance roles for high-growth technology and security companies, and we are excited about the ways his expertise will advance our organization’s ongoing mission to secure every computer, user and thing under the sun.

Robins comes to Cylance after serving as chief financial officer at AlienVault. Before that, he served as vice president and chief financial officer of Global Business Services at CSC, a multinational IT and professional services corporation.
Robins was previously the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Verisign, where he was responsible for managing all worldwide operations related to finance, accounting, financial planning analysis, treasury, tax, and investor relations.
Prior to that while at NeuStar, Robins served as vice president of finance, treasurer, and corporate officer, where he helped take the company public on the NYSE and managed several acquisition integrations.
Robins has also held executive level and financial leadership positions at MCI and Bankers Trust.
Cylance completed another year of record growth, achieving:
- 283 percent growth in overall revenue
- 119 percent growth in overall bookings
- 169 percent growth in the number of customers
- Over 5 million endpoints sold
- 171 percent growth in deals
- 100 percent growth in the number of OEM partnerships

Born in Baltimore, Robins grew up in Atlanta, GA, and went to college on both a tennis and an academic scholarship in Nashville before earning an MBA at Vanderbilt.
