ThreatVector Wins Security Bloggers Award at RSA
Cylance’s blog ThreatVector was recently awarded “Best Corporate Security Blog” at the RSA Conference by the Security Bloggers Network (SBN), which is hosted by Security Boulevard.
The SBN Awards are announced each year at the Bloggers Meet Up at RSA. Nominations are submitted by a panel of judges made up of some of the leading security journalists in the business. Voting for the actual winners is done by SBN members.
What sets these awards apart is they are not simply a popularity contest, but rather an award by security bloggers and podcasters for bloggers and podcasters. It is truly a guild and peer award. Any blog or podcast that is nominated to the finalists represents the best of the best in their category.
What is the Security Bloggers Network?
SBN began in 2006 as an unofficial gathering of a few bloggers who wanted to escape the chaos and crowds and grew into an official annual soiree of more than 300+ prominent influencers.
The Security Bloggers Meet-Up at RSA Conference fosters networking among bloggers, trade press, analysts, and industry influencers who put their ideas forth for the world to see. The SBN awards are private and peer-reviewed, recognizing the best blogs, bloggers, and podcasts in the security field.
Cylance's ThreatVector was up against some tough company, including blogs produced by Kaspersky, Sophos, MalwareBytes, Flashpoint, BitDefender, and Tripwire.
