BlackBerry Scores Highest in 3 Use Cases out of 4 in 2019 Gartner Critical Capabilities for UEM Tools Report

BlackBerry is pleased to announce our UEM solution achieved the Highest Scores for two primary Use Cases (Nontraditional Device Management and Highly Secure and Regulated Industries) and the second Highest Score in a third Use Case (Unmanaged Devices/BYO) in the 2019 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Unified Endpoint Management Tools report.

BlackBerry scores highest for Nontraditional Device Management which evaluated key aspects of mobile content management, support for devices requiring strict configurations, support for direct application management capabilities, and the isolation and protection of shared data assets:

BlackBerry scored highest for Highly Secure and Regulated Industries, which looked at capabilities for highly regulated verticals that typically present challenges for UEM tools like government, financial, and healthcare due to requirements for geofencing, strong authentication protocols, enhanced threat defense, and attack surface reduction:

BlackBerry’s UEM scored second highest for the Unmanaged Device/BYO use case which covers user-owned devices and considers challenges devices that cannot accept an agent, users who won’t accept management plans, and instances where the user works under certain legal constraints that conflict with centralized management options.
