At RSA 2020, InSecurity host Matt Stephenson caught up with Cheryl Biswas and Joshua Corman to talk about the root cause of the burnout many practitioners and employees in the security industry are currently experiencing.

Most burnout in modern organizations is fed by exhaustion, which is caused (in part) by a limited workforce and a lack of diversity and inclusion. Why is that, and is there a solution? About Cheryl Biswas

Cheryl Biswas is the Co-Founder of The Diana Initiative, celebrating diversity, women in security, and teaching women how to pursue a career in information security and technology. As a Strategic Threat Intel Analyst in cybersecurity at the Toronto-Dominion bank, the sixth largest bank in North America, she does research and analysis into threat actors and their tactics, techniques and procedures, geopolitical matters, malware trends and cyber security issues to identify the potential impact and risk.

About Joshua Corman

Joshua Corman is the Co-Founder of iamthecavalry.org. Previously he was the Chief Security Officer of computer software firm PTC, where he drove security and safety throughout the firm and accelerated cyber safety maturity across safety critical IoT industries. He also previously served as the Director of a non-profit, international policy think-tank the Atlantic Council, where he worked towards building out the world's first Cyber Safety policy initiative.
