About Faye Francy
Faye Francy is the Executive Director of Auto-ISAC. Faye serves the global automotive industry through the analysis and sharing of trusted and timely cyber threat information. Her responsibilities include developing, maintaining and executing a strategic plan that addresses operational priorities for the automotive industry.
She is also a contributing author for The Road to Mobility: The 2020 Guide to Trends and Technology for Smart Cities and Transportation, a comprehensive resource that government regulators, automotive executives and technology innovators can turn to for forward-thinking considerations for making safe and secure autonomous and connected vehicles a reality, delivering a transportation future that drivers, passengers and pedestrians alike can trust.
Faye previously established and led the Aviation-ISAC, and has held numerous leadership positions at the Boeing Company, including Cyber ONE Leader, Director Enterprise Technologies, Phantom Works and Air Traffic Management.
About Auto-ISAC
In 2014, the Auto Alliance, Global Automakers and fourteen automakers joined forces to form the Auto-ISAC, a community to share and analyze intelligence about emerging cybersecurity risks to the vehicle. The organization was officially established in August 2015, and its intelligence sharing platform went live in January 2016. Since then, the Auto-ISAC has broadened its horizons to include a more comprehensive view of the connected vehicle ecosystem.
Today, membership includes light- and heavy-duty vehicle OEMs, suppliers and the commercial vehicle sector (e.g. fleets, carriers). The ISAC is engaged with private-sector stakeholders, partners and government agencies to facilitate information sharing and strengthen the industry's capability and capacity to detect, prevent, respond to, and mitigate the cyber threat due to disruptions across the connected automotive ecosystem.
