BlackBerry is pleased to share that CRN® has named May Mitchell, Vice President, Global Channel Sales and Field Marketing and Sara Lofgren, Director, Worldwide Channel Sales Engineering to its 2020 Women of the Channel list. The honor is further validation of BlackBerry’s continued leadership and momentum in the channel, and highlights BlackBerry’s commitment to empowering our partners through a solid business model with proven, innovative solutions that earn deep customer loyalty.

The CRN editors have selected the Women of the Channel honorees based on their exceptional achievements, expertise, and commitment to supporting channel partner success. For the seventh consecutive year, May Mitchell was also selected to the Power 100, a select subset of extraordinary women who have inspired their peers through their leadership and tireless dedication to the advancement of their companies and the entire IT channel. “May and Sara are exceptional leaders, who inspire BlackBerry and our channel team with their energy, dedication and channel expertise,” said David Castignola, Head of BlackBerry Spark Field Operations and Marketing. “CRN’s recognition of their leadership highlights the passion BlackBerry’s channel team has for delivering a positive channel sales experience for our partners and their customers.”

May leads BlackBerry’s global channel sales and field marketing, and the programs responsible for driving new business growth and customer retention through the partner ecosystem and sales channels across all customer segments and verticals. May has over 20 years of go-to-market, channel, and sales expertise in cybersecurity, cloud, mobile and infrastructure solutions.

Sara Lofgren serves as Director for BlackBerry’s global channel engineering organization, leading programs that enable new business growth and customer retention through partner technical enablement and standards. Sara has over 15 years of security engineering and consulting expertise as well as 12 years in channel and infosec focusing on encryption, data security, privacy, compliance, network security, cloud, mobile and infrastructure solutions targeting Enterprise and SMB markets.

“CRN’s 2020 Women of the Channel list recognizes an accomplished group of influential women leaders whose strategic vision and unique achievements accelerate channel growth through cultivated partnerships, innovative thought leadership, and unwavering dedication to the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are proud to honor them for their accomplishments and contributions to driving channel success.”
