In conjunction with APAC’s Partner Day at the Asia Pacific BlackBerry® Partner Summit 2020, we are thrilled to announce the below award winners FY’2020, a year that has been like no other in recent memory from a security and business continuity standpoint.

Recognizing innovation and leadership within the BlackBerry partner ecosystem, winners have been honoured in seven individual categories. Award winners were selected from among BlackBerry’s wide range of APAC partners based on their commitment to customers, their solution’s impact on the market, and their innovative use of BlackBerry® technologies.

Partners are the most important element of BlackBerry’s go-to-market strategy, especially in the APAC region. We are currently living and working in unprecedented times, with the spread of COVID-19 and the rise of the work-from-home culture.

These awards express BlackBerry’s appreciation for the great services and support from our partners.

Congratulations to all our BlackBerry ANZ, Asia and India Partner of the Year FY'2020 Award Winners!

About Our Partnerships:

Akati Sekurity
is one of BlackBerry’s key partners in Asia, and has been instrumental in some of our key customer adoptions in the region. The team at Akati Sekurity impressed BlackBerry because not only were they technically capable of showcasing our solution value, but the team are also highly trained to implement the solution. Their approach as a highly trusted and transparent advisor to their customers has enabled them to be incredibly successful.

Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic Pvt. Ltd. has been one of BlackBerry’s strongest and most dedicated partners in India, focusing on UEM and UES as a product offering. Hitachi have been successful in acquiring and managing large customers in BFSI, healthcare, pharma, and many other industries. They have become a pioneer in training their teams to become technically capable to demonstrate and implement BlackBerry solutions, with a focus towards growth and customer acquisition. They have been BlackBerry’s top performing partner in the region.

Verizon has been in a global partnership with BlackBerry that has really blossomed over the last 12 months in Australia and New Zealand, headlined by some major customer wins. This partner has built innovation around the way they are taking BlackBerry products and services out to market, specifically focused on endpoint security requirements. Verizon greatly assisted BlackBerry in executing their strategy in this part of the market, and they deliver a really great solution for the customer.

Hacktive.io won our Rookie Partner of the year award. This award is focused on new partners who have come into the BlackBerry ecosystem in the last 12 months, and who have been heavily focused on developing capability quickly and taking new and innovative routes to market. This particular partner comes from a consulting background and have expanded their capability into product delivery and managed services.

iSEC7
- For the Innovation partner of the Year award, BlackBerry was looking at members of our partner community who have been able to take the full capability of BlackBerry’s security products, such as UEM functions, and fully integrate them into innovative solutions out to the market. iSEC7 stood out to us very clearly, both locally and on a global scale, as being able to do so in a highly effective fashion in the New Zealand market. This partner is setting themselves up for a great future of integrating the two portfolios together and releasing a single offering out to customers.

Arrow ECS - This well-deserved award is tied to our distribution network. With BlackBerry being a channel-first, go-to-market company, distribution is the key, the cornerstone, and the pillar to our success. Without distribution, we wouldn’t be able to reach many of the markets in Asia. Arrow ECS has been on a very long journey of riding the wave with BlackBerry over the last four years, and has had some great successes helping build out the business. This partner is really driving innovation with other partners in managed services, in consulting services, and in helping BlackBerry deliver value services like training, education, and certifications out to our partners.

Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) Ltd - This particular partner helps broaden BlackBerry’s footprint in the financial services industry. Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited is a leading telecommunications operator providing advanced mobile communications in Hong Kong and Macau under the "3" brand. HTHKH channels the latest technologies into innovations that set market trends and steer industry development.

We are extremely proud to work with each of these partners to help secure and protect our joint global customers amidst a threat landscape that continues to increase in both scale and complexity. We look forward to building on our shared success in the months and years to come.
