BlackBerry Wins Cybersecurity Innovation Award at Malaysia’s Cyber Security Awards 2024
BlackBerry has been honored with the prestigious Cyber Security Service Innovation Award at Malaysia’s Cyber Security Awards 2024. The award was presented by Dato' Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Bin Abdul Wahab FASc, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cybersecurity Malaysia during CyberDSA, an industry event endorsed by Cybersecurity Malaysia, an agency under the Ministry of Digital Malaysia

The award highlights the company’s successful establishment of a new Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CCoE) in Cyberjaya, aimed at training and upskilling cyber-workforces in Malaysia and the ASEAN region. Advancing Malaysia's Cybersecurity Landscape
Since announcing its software and services agreement with the Malaysian Government in November 2023, BlackBerry has continued to show its commitment to strengthening Malaysia's cybersecurity landscape. The opening of the Malaysia CCoE in early 2024 (check out the video below) marked the beginning of several initiatives, including announcing internationally accredited training partners, offering scholarships to women cyber leaders, and launching the BlackBerry Cybersecurity Curriculum.
